Our Technique
Here at Rerooted, we want what is best for your body.
That’s why Dr. Jess is proficient at both manual adjustments & the activator method.
The best part is, you get to choose!
Manual Adjustments
Manual chiropractic involves the use of chiropractor’s hands to apply force to the joints, muscles, and spine to correct subluxations and improve function. This approach often involves high-velocity, low amplitude thrusts and is sometimes referred to as “hand-on” chiropractic.
Activator Adjustments
Activator method, uses a small hand-held tool, called an activator. This tool delivers a gentle, controlled, and precise adjustment to the joint. This approach is often used for patients who prefer a gentler form of chiropractic care.
infant + pediatric care
Birth trauma continues to be a severely under-treated problem. Excessive force or complications during delivery can create misalignments in the spine and compromise nervous system function.
Because most neurological development occurs within the first year of life, we encourage getting your baby checked as soon as possible.
Some conditions that respond well to chiropractic include difficulty latching, ear infections, reflux, colic, and digestive issues.

Many health challenges that show up in adulthood can be traced back to one’s childhood - including their birthing experience! This is especially the case if additional medical intervention was required. This can cause interruptions with the nerve signal flow from the body to the brain and back. These disruptions can interfere with normal childhood development. A health nervous system during childhood is essential for a healthy life!
prenatal + postpartum
women's health
With all the changes that pregnant women go through quickly, regular chiropractic care helps to create a more balanced, flexible, and stress-free state for the spine and the nervous system. When a mother's nervous system function is operating at its best, then the baby's development is going to be optimal.
Why is having a doctor certified in the Webster Technique so important?
The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic analysis & adjustment that reduces nervous system stress, balances pelvic bones, muscles & ligaments, and optimizes the mother’s pelvic function in pregnancy and birth. Proper alignment of the pelvis allows for a safer and more comfortable birth for both mom & baby.
athletes
It is estimated that 90% of all world-class athletes routinely receive chiropractic care to prevent injuries, boost their performance, and regulate their nervous system.
Common benefits of regular chiropractic care for athletes include enhanced strength & performance, faster reaction time, quicker recovery, better muscle recruitment, improved balance & coordination, and injury treatment & prevention.
